Focus and Scope
INSIST accepts contribution and submission for original as well as critical review manuscripts that focus on the field of engineering, sciences, and their interdisciplinary researches. The scopes are including but not limited to: Electrical and Telecommunication; Mechanical and Industrial; Geophysics; Aeronautics; Mining and Materials; Chemical and Environmental; Civil and Architecture; Computer & Information Technology, Mathematics; Physics ad Biophysics; Nano- and Quantum Sciences; Biosciences and Bioinformatics; Astronomy; Basic and Applied Chemistry Science, Medical Sciences and Biomedical Engineering, and Agriculture Engineering and Food sciences.

Peer Review Process
INSIST is a peer-reviewed journal. All submitted manuscripts will be reviewed blindly by 2-3 reviewers. The final decision will be taken by the editor based on the peer-review results.
Publication Frequency
INSIST’s schedule for publication is two editions a year, namely in April and October.
Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

Publication Ethics
International Series on Interdisciplinary Science and Technology is a peer-reviewed international journal, published by INSIST is published by The Institute for Research and Community Services (LPPM), University of Lampung, Indonesia twice a year for September and March editions. This statement clarifies ethical behavior of all parties involved in the act of publishing an article in this journal, including the author, the chief editor, the Editorial Board, reviewers and the publisher. This statement is based on COPE’s Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors.
The publication of an article in INSIST is using a double peer-reviewed which essential related to the originality, scientific quality and interest to the interdisciplinary research. It is a direct reflection of the quality of the authors’ work and institutions which support them. It is therefore important to agree upon standards of expected ethical behavior for all parties involved in the act of publishing: the author, the journal editor, the peer reviewer, the publisher and the society. The Institute for Research and Community Services (LPPM), University of Lampung, Indonesia takes a guardianship over all stages of publishing processes. The Editorial board recognizes our ethical rules and responsibilities. We are committed to ensuring that advertising, reprint or other commercial revenue has no impact or influence on editorial decisions.

The Author(s) submitting a manuscript for publication, should assign the copyright author form.
Please use the official form when submitting a manuscript to INSIST. The Copyright Author Form can be downloaded here in WORD [copyright_INSIST.doc] or PDF [copyright_INSIST.pdf].
The copyright form should be signed originally and send through post mail, or e-mail scanned or facsimile and addressed to the Editorial Office.
Screening for Plagiarism
The manuscript that submitted into this journal will be screened for plagiarism using iThenticate.
Peer Review Process
After submit inventions have made a preliminary review of the manuscript by the editor INSIST. Editor will decide whether the manuscript in accordance with the scope and focus and proper to give to the reviewer. Sometimes, editors may recommend revision before submitting for review. This initial review of activities usually takes a week.
Submissions that pass the initial review will be assigned to at least two reviewers (double-blind peer review). Based on the review editor will first make editorial decisions. There are five possible editorial decisions (1) the manuscript is accepted, (2) be amended, (3) re-submit, (4) is sent to another publisher, or (5) is rejected.
Typically, the time frame of delivery to the first editor of the average results of 6-8 weeks.
The time to reach a final decision depends on the number of reviews rotation, perceptive writer etc. Typically, the time frame of delivery by an average of 4-5 months a final decision.
